CAVEMENHed's smart. Shraga is strong. Re'em is there.
That's how it is for these three cavemen whose lives together rest on one constant: that Shraga huns so that Hed and Re'em can philosophize. So when Shraga reveals to them that he's the inventor of the wheel and the flame, things get out of whack. Instead of hunter-gatherers, they become inventor-makers. One change that puts their entire future on a new track. CAVEMEN is the story of three friends searching for meaning in a hard and frightening world, who find themselves asking: is the good life worth any price? CAVEMEN is the Hebrew language version of A.E. Acuff's THE PHILOSOPHY OF CAVEMEN. It was first produced as a capstone project as part of Tel Aviv University's Department of Theatre Art's MFA in Directing program, in April 2024. |
